Marketing for nonprofits is essential to build awareness and connect with supporters. And it can be overwhelming to know where to turn with all the digital marketing options out there. Don't worry, we'll help you figure it out. 

Chris Burns will guide a digital marketing workshop designed to make digital marketing fun and easy while leaving you feeling empowered and inspired to take on your nonprofit's digital marketing with confidence. 

Join us for an exciting and informative journey that will help you take your agency to the next level!


Who Should Attend: 


Nonprofit staff and board members with marketing duties as part of their role.

This is a beginner-level course providing practical tips and tools to create an effective digital marketing strategy. Experienced marketers are welcome to join for the fun and pick-up tips to increase their digital marketing effectiveness. 

Session Highlights: 


Over the course of the morning, you'll participate in four mini- workshops. Each workshop will include 15 minutes of hands-on work time with an opportunity to receive coaching from Chirs and his team. We'll cover: 


  • Understanding your brand. Assess your digital footprint and determine what metrics are important for your organization.

  • Strategy. Use a template to create a simple, two-page strategy with SMART goals. 

  • Social Media Management. Creating content and how to elevate your social media and maximize your social media ROI.

  • Effective Email Marketing. Leveraging tools, writing copy and determining platform and frequency.

Registration Fee: Fees are nonrefundable.


$15 within NPLI's service area - Organizations located in and primarily serving Outagamie, Calumet, Shawano, Waupaca Counties and Neenah/Menasha area of Winnebago.


$30 outside of NPLI's service area.

More about Chris Burns: 

Chris  is a serial entrepreneur, author, adjunct professor, digital marketing coach, podcaster, and consultant. He is also a former Executive Director, board member, and nonprofit advocate.
