Session Information:

Please join us on Thursday, May 1st for Building a Sense of Belonging Through Respectful Language and Meaningful Dialogue - an interactive workshop tailored for nonprofit organizations.

Participants will gain valuable insights into cultivating an inclusive and supportive environment where every individual - whether a client, staff member, or community partner - feels accepted, valued, and respected. By exploring the power of language and the impact of terminology, participants will discover practical strategies to engage in meaningful dialogue that strengthens relationships and enhances a sense of belonging across diverse groups and experiences.

Attendees will also receive a copy of the Guide to Complex Conversations with Respectful Dialogue, equipping them with the tools needed to foster inclusive conversation within their organizations and communities.

About the Facilitator: 

Laurice Snyder - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Consultant with Center 4All.

Laurice is a passionate leader with over 15 years of experience in education and community engagement. Known for her transformative work, Laurice has spearheaded initiatives across K-12 and higher education, advocating for systemic change and inclusive environments. Her expertise spans DEI strategy, cultural coaching, and community partnerships. As a TEDx speaker and co-founder of The Humanity Project and Courageous Conversations at the Dinner Table with Law Enforcement, Laurice is dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices and creating spaces where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.

Registration Fee: 

$20 per person within NPLI's service area - Organizations located in and primarily serving Outagamie, Calumet, Shawano, Waupaca Counties and Neenah/Menasha area of Winnebago.

$35 per person outside of NPLI's service area.

Registration fees are nonrefundable.

Payment: Upon registration, you will receive an email with a link to a secure payment site. Once payment is received it may take a few days for you to see your registration as complete.
